General Manager

Location: Lisbon (Portugal), Luxembourg, New York – Remote US-based also considered
Engagement: 30-40 hours per week (negotiable)
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR: We’re looking for a candidate with at least 5 years working experience who feels comfortable at the intersection of project management and client management OR a background in law, paralegal services and legal office management. You have very strong English skills and are comfortable dealing with customers in English. You also ideally have at least a basic understanding and knowledge of the French language.

WHO WE ARE: We help people in the US get dual citizenship in Luxembourg through an ancestor from the country. So our business is a combination of immigration and genealogy. We’re also an LGBT owned and operated mission-driven business. Everyone has worked from home since the Pandemic, but we have an office on Madison Ave in New York and an office in Lisbon.

SCOPE: Weekly work commitment is 30-40 hours variable and will really depend on the necessary time to complete the work in that given week. For operational reasons, our preference is for a candidate physically based in New York, Luxembourg or Lisbon, Portugal. We are open to remote candidates, but we would need you to be in the USA to carry out the full range of responsibilities.


YOU have a demonstrated experience of at least a few years working with different clients in the English language and carrying out detailed projects. You’ll be overseeing day-to-day operations and client contact while helping manage the work of project managers. Some basic knowledge of the French language is highly desired, but impeccable English is needed.

You will be interacting with our clients daily, updating our project management tool, keeping all of our work and online document system well managed, and following up and helping convert our business prospects to new clients.

-You have a background in law, paralegal services, project management, customer success and/or account management.
-Highly organized.
-Good sense of humor, down with team spirit but also good working in a 100% remote environment as an independent contributor. You’ll need to be a self starter but we’ll always be around to answer your questions and support you.
-You know how to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs and Gmail/Outlook.
-Some knowledge of WordPress, Gravity Forms, Zapier or other website backend management systems is helpful.
-Some knowledge of the French language is desired, especially experience/knowledge in legal and administrative settings.
-Interested in International relations, travel, Europe, languages, living/moving abroad, genealogy, just generally curious and open to the world. If you like any of those things, we have a pretty unique international environment to offer you and tons of opportunity to learn and create. We have to get 500 Americans to Europe this year. It’s no small task.

We have a global team and over 1200 clients.  It’s a very informal, fun, and international atmosphere.
